Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

Vaxnext is a family vaccination tracker that runs on your device. Your health information (profiles, vaccines, dose dates) stays on your phone: there is no account and no server of ours, and it never leaves your phone unless you export it yourself. The app is free and supported by non-personalized ads served by Google AdMob, which processes a device advertising identifier and basic device data — never your health records. This is explained below.

1. Who we are

Vaxnext is published by SMARTNESS HOME, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with share capital of €8,000, registered office at 5 rue Agrippa d’Aubigné, 91090 Lisses, France, registered with the Evry Trade and Companies Register under number 829 550 185.

Questions about privacy: contact@vaxnext.com.

2. The short version

Your health data — family profiles, vaccines and dose dates — stays in the app’s private storage on your device. Vaxnext has no user account and sends none of it to any server of ours, and we never sell it or share it with advertisers.

To keep the app free, Vaxnext shows non-personalized ads through Google AdMob. AdMob processes a device advertising identifier and basic device/usage data to serve those ads and prevent fraud. That is the only data collection in the app, and it never includes your vaccination records.

3. What stays on your device

Family profiles (first name, date of birth, sex), the vaccines and dose dates you record, and your app preferences are stored only on your phone, in the app’s private storage. We have no technical means of accessing them.

Uninstalling the app deletes this data. Depending on your phone settings, a system backup (iCloud, Google) may keep an encrypted copy under Apple’s or Google’s responsibility — not ours.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Vaxnext is free and shows ads to support it. Ads are served by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). To display and cap ads and to prevent fraud, AdMob processes a device advertising identifier (Apple IDFA / Android Advertising ID), your approximate location derived from your IP address, technical device information and ad-interaction events. Google acts as an independent data controller for this processing; see Google’s Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and how Google uses data from apps that use its services (policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).

We request non-personalized ads only: the advertising identifier is not used to build a cross-app advertising profile, and no App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown on iOS. Vaxnext contains no separate analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK.

Your health data is never sent to AdMob, never sold and never shared with advertisers — the ad SDK cannot read your vaccination records. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, a consent screen is shown before ads load. You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).

5. Purchases

Vaxnext is currently free and makes no in-app purchase, so no payment or billing data is involved. If a paid plan is added later, it would be purchased and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — they would handle payment, and we would never receive your card number or billing address.

6. When your health data leaves your device

Apart from the advertising data described in §4, the only way your health data leaves your phone is if you use “Export my data”, which builds a JSON file and hands it to the share sheet. You choose where it goes. We never receive it, and it is never sent to AdMob.

7. Children’s profiles

Vaxnext is for adults managing their family’s vaccinations. Profiles for children are created and managed by a parent or guardian, who remains responsible for the data entered. The app is not intended for direct use by minors and offers no social features.

8. Your rights

Because everything is on your device, you are always in control. Portability: Settings → Privacy → Export my data (a readable JSON file). Erasure: Settings → Privacy → Delete all my local data, or simply uninstall the app.

If you have any question about this policy, contact contact@vaxnext.com. If you are in the EU/EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority (in France, the CNIL, www.cnil.fr).

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Any material change will be indicated in the app before it takes effect. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page.
